Just a small slice of bike life from Ireland

Tuesday 24 February 2015

Anyone who knows me,knows how strongly I feel about our culture, maybe too strong. I have no time for posers/bullies/wannbes who have infiltrated our life. I do however, have great respect and love for the people who genuinely live their lives everyday with honour and respect through choppers and old bikes.
The Rogues MC from Opmeer,Holland are such a club, with a true love and respect for Choppers. On Friday 13th 2015 their class clubhouse was totally destroyed in a fire. It wasnt just blocks and wood that was lost,it was 35yrs of love
and history.
If you love our life, then check out their blog/website  www.rogues-mc.com and buy a tshirt to help raise money & rebuild another classic clubhouse, where good people can celebrate our life.
The beautiful clubhouse bar that has now been destroyed by fire.

Sunrise over Shovels

Photo by Paul Cullen. Paul took this photo with his phone at around 04.50 on a Sunday morning in June last. We had been celebrating 30yrs since the last Shovel rolled off  the Milwaukee line. Thanks to the Goonz car club who hosted us at their show, with excellent entertainment and food for the weekend.

2% of  Bikers build and ride their own Choppers. There are a minority of  Bike clubs around the world that live this way, something that I admire and Respect. Look up 2% bike clubs and draw your own conclusions.
